Terms of Service

Last updated October 24, 2026

These terms are an agreement between Jumpbook ("Jumpbook", "we", "us") and the business that uses Jumpbook ("you"). By using Jumpbook, you agree to them. If you use Jumpbook for a company, you confirm you can accept these terms for it. If you have a signed order or agreement with us, it applies together with these terms, and it wins if the two disagree.

Booking a rental? If you are a customer booking through a rental company's website, your agreement is with that rental company, not with Jumpbook. Its own rental terms, policies, and waivers apply.

1. Accounts

  • Jumpbook accounts are by invitation. You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for everyone you add to your account, what they do in it, and keeping sign-in details secure. Tell us right away if you think your account has been misused.

2. Fees

  • You pay the fees in your order, invoice, or agreement with us, plus any applicable taxes.
  • Jumpbook does not take a percentage of your customers' payments.
  • If fees are not paid on time, we may pause your account after giving you notice. Your data is kept while the account is paused.

3. Payments from your customers

Your customers pay you through your own Stripe account, under Stripe's terms. You are the seller. You are responsible for your prices, taxes, refunds, deposits, disputes, and chargebacks. Payment methods you collect outside Jumpbook, such as cash or e-transfer, are between you and your customer.

4. Your data

  • Your business information, inventory, bookings, and customer information belong to you.
  • You give us permission to store, process, and display it only to provide Jumpbook to you, including hosting your booking website and sending emails you set up.
  • You can export your customers and inventory at any time. When your account closes, you have 30 days to ask for an export. After that, we delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Your customers and your business

  • You are responsible for your rental terms, policies, waivers, safety practices, insurance, permits, and taxes. Jumpbook provides tools such as waiver templates and booking rules, but it does not give legal or safety advice.
  • You are responsible for having the right to collect and use your customers' information, and for the emails you send through Jumpbook.
  • Driver tracking shares a driver's location while a route is active. Tell your drivers how it works before they use it.

6. Websites

  • Text, photos, logos, and other content you provide stay yours, and you confirm you have the right to use them.
  • Jumpbook's software, designs, and code stay ours. Domains you own stay yours.
  • We build websites to be easy for Google and AI tools to read, but no one controls search results. We do not guarantee rankings, traffic, or bookings.

7. AI tools

Some features use AI to draft text such as item descriptions and FAQs. AI can be wrong. Review anything it drafts before you save or publish it. You are responsible for what you publish.

8. Acceptable use

Don't use Jumpbook to:

  • break the law, or send spam or misleading messages;
  • upload content you don't have the right to use, or that is harmful;
  • try to access other accounts, break our security, or overload the service;
  • copy, resell, or reverse engineer Jumpbook.

9. Other services

Jumpbook works with services such as Stripe, Google, and calendar apps. Your use of them is under their own terms. We are not responsible for them, and they can change or stop their services.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep Jumpbook running and secure, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. We may do maintenance, and we may add, change, or remove features. If we remove something important you rely on, we will tell you ahead of time. Features marked as early access or beta may change more often.

11. Ending the agreement

  • You can stop using Jumpbook at any time under the terms of your order or agreement.
  • We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

12. Disclaimers

Except as written in these terms, Jumpbook is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not make other promises, including that Jumpbook will meet every need or be free of errors.

13. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Jumpbook is not liable for lost profits, lost bookings, or indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These limits don't apply where the law does not allow them.

14. Indemnity

If a third party makes a claim against us because of your content, your rentals, or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.

15. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario.

16. Changes to these terms

We will post changes on this page and update the date at the top. For significant changes, we will email account owners at least 30 days before they take effect. Using Jumpbook after that means you accept the changes.
